June 20: Speeding across the vast ocean with an electric foil (with handle) 2

Today, too, was an electric foil lesson with a handle.
With a little more confidence than last time,
my steps towards the sea felt lighter.
The moment I embraced the board and felt the sea breeze by the crashing waves,
I felt a small flame ignite deep within my heart.
Today, I was sure I could reach the next level–– I believed it.

The sea surface was a bit rough.
The wind was stronger than expected, and the swells were big.
The electric foil is easily affected by the waves,
and if you lose balance, it quickly sinks.
Even so, the moment I turned on the power and started gliding,
a rush of excitement surged through my chest.
Cutting through the water resistance, the board lifted.
The feeling of floating when the wind is at your side–– that moment is irresistible.

Even while being tossed by the swells,
I challenged it again and again.
Even if I failed, I quickly got back up.
Gradually, my senses returned, and my body began to synchronize with the sea.
In the distance, the instructor waved with a smiling face.
"That's a good feeling! Keep going straight!"
As if pushed from behind by that voice,
strength flowed back into my hands gripping the throttle.

Towards the end of the lesson, the waves finally calmed,
and the board started gliding steadily.
The sound of cutting through the wind rang sharply beside my ears,
and the sea surface moved as if obeying my will.
In my arms, gripping the handle, there was a firm response.
If I went straight, I wouldn't sink anymore.
The moment I sped across the water surface as if flying,
joy surged through my entire body.

It was only a few tens of seconds, yet it felt like an eternity.
Without fear of failure, communicating with the waves,
today I took another step closer to the world above the wind.
As I inhaled the scent of the tide deeply into my chest,
I quietly vowed to myself,
"Next time, I'll go even further."

Enoshima always looks like a painting, doesn't it?

The beach house construction is also a beautiful sight. Craftsmen, please do your best to make it in time.
