12/7 Club Christmas Party ― A Day wrapped in the sea and people ―

On this day, there was a Christmas party organized by the club, and I joined.
It is a little different from the lesson, it is a day of 'side enjoying the sea'.

First, I rode an amphibious car to the sea.
A small cruise around the famous sites of Shonan began as it was.

Eboshi-iwa (Eboshi-iwa Rock),
a large torii gate seen from the sea, and a scenery that I have seen only from the land.
The view of Shonan from the seaside was fresh,
and there were places to visit for the first time.

The weather was fine,
the air was clear,
and I could see Mt.Fuji clearly in the distance.
It is a
dignified beauty unique to this period.

In the middle of the cruise
, I had time to experience sailing one by one for about 10 minutes.
I actually hold the steering wheel and
try to move the ship.

The reaction is more direct than I thought,
and the sense of moving forward while feeling the resistance and flow of water is interesting.
It was a short time, but it
was a very enjoyable experience.

After the cruise
and back to the club,
the party started on the 2nd floor.

Today, I can talk slowly while drinking with friends who usually meet face to face at the sea, and greet lightly
.

People with the same hobbies,
the topic is not exhausted.
The story of the sea, the story of the tools, the story of the
sports
that I used to do, and the goal of the future.

What impressed me most
was that I was able to have a drink with a teacher who always coaches me for the first time.

On the sea, technology and safety are the main topics, but when you talk in a relaxed place like this,
you see a different side.
It was a very good time.

Many of the participants were in their 50s to 60s, who had a very different impression from the people I usually see at work,
and it was a nice and calm atmosphere. There were some people from Germany, and there were scenes where English naturally flew around.

I never thought that I would participate in a party at a swanky restaurant on the beach, as I live in Uminashi Prefecture.
It was really good to put it here.

It is not just a place to learn technology
, but a place to connect with people through the sea and
enrich the time of life.
It has become such a presence.

Today,
I did not float or run, but in my mind, it was certainly a day that moved forward greatly.

I was looking forward to the day I returned to the sea again.
